President of Al Yamamah University, Dr. Ahmed Al Eisa, participated in module 1 of Saudi Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Programme which was held in Oxford University from February 08 to February 21, 2009. The programme, specifically tailored to the needs of executives and business leaders and senior government officials in Saudi Arabia, focuses on resolving challenges faced by public and private organization and their leaders in the 21st Century.
The Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Program is an intensive three week program aimed at executives who have leadership roles. The program addresses leadership challenges such as political and economic uncertainties; social trends and changing preferences of consumers; technological innovations and competitive pressures; financial and investment risks; and the challenges in managing public-private partnerships including changing mindsets in civil services.
The program is comprised of two modules:
Module 1 is entitled “Global Insights and Organisational Challenges” which was held at Egrove Park, Said Business School, Oxford, UK from 8th to 21st February 2009.
Module 2 is entitled “You as a Leader and Your Contributions to Your Nations’ Competitiveness” and will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 4th to 15th April.
