Orphans Party on Campus
April 7th was a lively and happy day at YU. Female students organized an orphans party in the garden of Women’s Campus with lots of activities and games for everyone.
First, children were given pop corn and cotton candies and were invited to color sands, draw on T-shirts and make dolls. Then, they happily got their faces painted. But it was the giant jumping castle that fascinated them. Chattering and laughing with excitement, they enjoyed riding ponies and playing video games.
At noon, all the kids took their places in groups and delightfully enjoyed their lunch. Later, they were given presents, carefully chosen for their ages and brand new.
Everyone gathered happily when it was time to take pictures. It was a day with plenty to smile about.
