Al Yamamah University congratulates the winners of the Best Business Plan Competition 2009:

• AlJohara Albrahim & Alanoud Alsaud for Creato Café
• Naif Alsuhaibani for Snack Shack

The competition was created to recognize and promote excellence in the development of professional business plans, supported by well-prepared studies and researches. It contributes to the mission of YU whereby providing generations of business students with real-world professional experience.

Launched in 12 Jan. 2009, the competition generated excitement among students as they were given the opportunity to translate theory into practice and it attracted a variety of brilliant entries. A panel of judges chaired by Dr. Hessah Al-Sheikh, Dean of Women’s College evaluated the entries based on idea, creativity, structure and practicability.

Winners will be awarded rental contracts for spaces on campus, discounted at %25 so they can implement their ideas and bring them to fruition.
