Prince Turki bin Talal Visits YU

Al Yamamah University received the honors of a visit by His Royal Highness, Prince Turki Bin Talal on January 4, 2012. The University officials, who were present at the occasion to welcome the royal visit, included the President of Al Yamamah University, Professor Hussain Al Freihi, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, Dr. Kaseb Al Rashidi, along with the deans and directors from various departments.

In his welcome note of thanks, Professor Al Freihi expressed his gratitude to Prince Turki for the support and care he has always bestowed to the higher education institutions in the Kingdom, especially to the private ones.

Later, the Prince was taken to a tour of various facilities at the campus, including the main auditorium, library and the gymnasium.

At the end of his visit, Prince Turki expressed his pleasure for the achievements of Al Yamamah University in providing the quality education to its graduates. He also appreciated the warm welcome extended to him by the university officials.
