Under the patronage of his royal highness, Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, Al Yamamah University held the graduation ceremony for its second group of male students, on Tuesday June 22, 2010.

Under its programs and activities targeted at activating its positive role towards the community and as part of its efforts to provide its students with employment opportunities at leading organizations, the Women’s College at Al Yamamah University organized its first career day on May 11 and 12, 2010.

The Women’s College at Al Yamamah University is pleased to announce its first Career Day, which will include presentations by some business women and the participation of a number of companies, establishments and banks in Saudi Arabia. The event will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday May 11, 12 2010.

The Arab Orphan Day was a lively and joyful one at Al Yamamah University. The Women’s College hosted a party on the 12th of April and invited a group of orphans to share happy moments and have fun.

The Riyadh finals of Mobily’s Football Tournament for Schools were held on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at Al Yamamah University’s stadium, and were attended by Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Dubayan, Mr. Hamoud Al-Ghubaini, and Mr. Abdulmalik Al-Senani.

Professor Hussein M. Al-Freihi, a distinguished executive, academic, and physician, assumes the appointment as President of Al Yamamah University. The announcement was made by the chairman of Al Yamamah University’s board of trustees, Mr. Khalid Al Khudair.

Admission to the College of Continuing Education for its diplomas which are supported by the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) is still open. The diplomas are free of charge, and trainees will receive a monthly income of SR. 1,000.
