The first two years of BCIT program are common to all the concentrations. The program of study is designed so that students can complete a set of courses required of all CIT professionals and then, upon completion, make an informed decision about their choice of concentration for the final two years. As such, the common years include a wide variety of courses from different disciplines and bodies of knowledge.
