Prof. Dr. Britta Bergemann
Since 2003 Professor of Marketing and Communications at Hochschule Furtwangen University of Applied Sciences (HFU). 2005–2008 Vice President of the University, 2003 and 2004 Director of the MBA program.
20 years of industry experience. From 1998–2003 Managing Director and Member of the Central European Executive Board at the media and communication agency Aegis Media plc, registered at the London stock exchange.
Prior to this position, Management Consultant with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and Marketing Director with Arthur Andersen Germany. Product and Marketing Manager at Langnese-Iglo and Kraft Jacobs Suchard, Marketing Director at Kraft Jacobs Suchard in Chicago, USA. Executive Trainee at Unilever.
Degree (Diplom) in English, French and Economics from the University of Heidelberg in 1983. PhD/Dissertation (Dr. rer. pol.) in 2003.


Prof. Dr. Gerd Addicks
Prof. Dr. Gerd Addicks has been a professor at Furtwangen University since 1996. Following a degree in economics, he worked for universities in Germany and abroad as well as in the developmental aid sector, in Thailand, South America and Africa.
In addition to his teaching commitments, he works as expert for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (German Oranization for Developmental Aid) as well as being a representative on the HFU's Supervisory Board. He publishes extensively, mainly on international topics.
For the Faculty of International Business, Professor Addicks offers lectures in Economics, Politics Germany / EU or World Economy.


Prof. Dr. Jane Zima
Prof. Dr. Jane Zima joined the Faculty of International Business of HFU in September 2004, focusing on Mathematics and Banking.
Following a mathematics degree, she has gained experience working for Ruhrkohle AG, Deutsche Bank and the European Central Bank in the USA, Great Britain and the Czech Republic.
Prof. Dr. Zima is the deputy equal opportunities officer for the faculty and has also contributed successful modules to the Kinder-Uni (children's university).
Her lecturing commitments for the Faculty of International Business include Financial Markets and Institutions, Quantitative Business Analysis, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Computer-Based Decision Making as well as Financial Modeling.


Lee Buddress
Leland A.W. Buddress, Supply and Logistics Management, has a B.S. from University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Dr. Buddress teaches supply and logistics management, operations management, and negotiation. His twenty years of experience in supply, logistics and operations management provide the foundation for his research interests in international supply and logistics and forecasting. Dr. Buddress is actively involved with National Association of Purchasing Management, American Production and Inventory Control Society, and Industrial Distribution Association.


Prof. Dr. Niels Behrmann
Prof. Dr. Niels Behrmann holds a 50% position as professor in the Faculty of International Business. He has been with the faculty since March 1998. Upon the completion of his university studies (in Germany, the USA and Switzerland), he has worked for a consultancy firm and today runs an international patent law firm.
The focus of his research work and publications are patent economy, entrepreneurship as well as intellectual property and strategy in fast-growth industries. He has contributed significantly to the development of the Faculty of International Business' MBA and Executive MBA programs.
Professor Behrmann, amongst other subject, teaches entrepreneurship, strategy and management of innovation and technology.


Prof. Dr. Paul Taylor
Paul Taylor studied at the University of Greenwich London, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and Aston University in Birmingham, where he obtained a PhD.
He worked in international market research across Europe before returning to the University of Greenwich as lecturer. He was appointed Professor at HFU in 1999.
Alongside 20 years of teaching experience in higher education, Professor Taylor has acted as external examiner for a number of universities and is currently Chief External Examiner for the Open University for study programs in Baden-Wuerttemberg.


Scott Marshall
R. Scott Marshall has a B.A. in business economics, Willamette University; an M.A. in international affairs, George Washington University; and a Ph.D. in international strategy, University of Oregon. Dr. Marshall is Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Research at the School of Business and the Director of the Center for Design and Innovation for Business & Sustainability.
Dr. Marshall teaches two graduate courses - Global Business and Sustainability in the Master of International Management Program and Managing Sustainable Enterprise in the MBA+ Program. His research is in the areas of proactive environmental strategy, corporate governance and sustainability reporting, and environmental and social multi-stakeholder initiatives. Dr. Marshall has published in leading academic journals including Business Strategy & Environment, California Management Review, Journal of Information Systems, Journal of International Business Studies and Organization & Environment.
